The people that tend to scream the loudest about those policies or laws, tend to be the ones that know that the gravy train is about to run out and they don't want that. They tend to be the ones that abuse the current system, and so no, they don't want it to change...

That's often true. In any discussion, though, it's highly useful if not imperative to define the terms in use. The examples given of x% above MSRP is quite clear (as well as utterly ridiculous in practice) while "crap deals" is subjective - in either direction - defined more or less by individual expectation. Sometimes expectations are simply out of touch with reality. I don't see a problem with pointing that out.

I am done with it. I will be more than happy to pay the 10 bucks a year to help keep this group going. The rest of us that are willing to pay will have to cover the cost of the free loaders on here anyways so close the Vote keep the adds and everyone that is willing to pay and help out please do so asap. And Thanks to the Owner and Admins for keeping this group up and running for all to use.

You may not see a problem, but you will have a problem if you point out how out of touch the member selling is with reality. Yep, deleted post and a warning, next time, a hat and a couple of days to yourself. Rules are very clear on that subject.

Besides, what does that have to do with whether or not to change and begin charging $1 for selling on this site.

Then continue on the way it is, and watch less and less good deals here and let it turn into Facebook ads and CL.

You win. Enjoy MSRP plus 20% on your used guns...

You absolutely have the right to pay more than something is worth... genius...

Thank you..
I recently made what you would think was a bad deal because I had the cash and wanted the item. I'm happy, sellers happy.
Now will you let it die?

I wonder .....

If I go into an establishment and start loudly and publicly telling all the customers that the prices are high, they are being ripped off....

Or I start screaming at the Manager, telling him his "crap" is not worth what he is charging...

How long before I get thrown out ..or go to Jail.

In a DEAL, the ONLY people who decide whether or not something is too high are the Buyer and the Seller.

If you are not either, then you are interfering in something that is in NO WAY your business.

IMO.
