Old school here, always used non polymer mags for AR's. What is the difference between the G2 Pmag and the G3 Pmag without the windows. G2 vs G3.

G3 has a flush fitting bottom so it's one thickness from top to bottom. G3 has an over insertion tab on the back that isn't compatible with all lower designs.

G2 has smaller external ribs compared to G1.

G2 moe do not come with covers. G1 covers won't work on G2, but G2 covers will work on G1.

Oh yeah I forgot about the E mag that was made for European guns and slick with no external ribbing.

Wow. okay, so G2 pmags should work in just most AR's, right? and G3 will work in most AR's where the tab doesn't stop them, So which AR's would the G3's basically not work in.
Without me pulling all the AR's out and trying them, How bout for G2--???? BUSHMASTE, RRA, ARMALITE, COLT, DPMS, DOUBLE STAR S&W. That might be all the different makers I have.
Thanks for all the information. Like I said, within the last 2 weeks, these are the only pmags I have obtained.

2's work in just about ANYTHING

3's will work in most everything, but won't in some billet lowers. I know they won't work in the Seekins lowers because of the magwell. As long as it is a forged mil spec lower the Gen 3 should be good to go.

They still havent addressed that with the Gen 3. I still use all Emags or modified Pmags in my SCAR.
