Pocket Carry

I've for years carried a S&W 442 in a Galco horse hide front pocket. Mostly as a back up, but sometimes as primary. I have spent a bunch of range time with the j's and love and trust 'em no questions asked.

Pocket guns are referred to as Bugs.....back up guns. I pocket carry a 380 acp with six in the clip and none chambered.

Welcome to the trader! :thumb:

Oh, by the way...

Not pickin on ya, but why not chambered? Is it a sense of feeling safer of negligent discharge? Or? Empty chamber on top of a pocket draw of a micro pistol makes for a slow "get the gun in the fight" when seconds or miliseconds count. Especially if the perp is right up on ya.

How do you like that thing? I’ve always been curious of them

I love it for everyday pocket carry. Prints like a cell phone in your pocket. With the curve, other than a little weight you never know it’s there. Mine looks 10 years old from carrying so much but not fired enough to be what you would call broken in.

My LCP. I used to pocket carry a j-frame, but the LCP pocket carries much easier for me.

Today I did pocket carry with a .38 snubby (bobbed hammer, DAO trigger system) and a little Uncle Mike's soft pocket holster to keep the gun's muzzle from tearing the lining of my pocket.
It was good for deep concealment when I was not wearing any cover garment and had to keep my shirt tucked in.
