Possible fake aimpoint?

Picked up an aimpoint comp m4 today used from the pawn shop for 400 bucks after getting it home and inspecting it im wondering if I’ve been duped

I didn’t catch the upside down lettering until I had gotten home and mounted it

Oh who knows but they sure do have some good looking “fakes” out there. I would maybe email aimpoint and they can check the serial number.

They do have good looking fakes. I ordered a “trijicon acog” off there for my little brothers airsoft gun and it looks identical... a little heavier and shorter eye relief than the real thing but as far as looks, it’s a good copy.

Aimpoint deemed it a fake, the pawn shop is refusing to refund even a partial refund at my request. Left a real Karen style review on google. Looks like I’m stuck with it.
