I would have him create an account and list the gun himself with your guidance. Then you could always post in the ad that you referred him here and will vouch for his character, while not assuming the hassle or liability of the transaction.

Why not find what he is looking for on here. Contact the person and see if they will trade with your neighbor.

He's already committed to buy from his girlfriend's brother. He shot is and just had to have it. I know the feeling, but not with a tiny .380.
