My month old nephew has rsv (upper respiratory infection like a bad cold), pneumonia, and strep throat. His breathing was rough and very little. He was airlifted from gwinnett to children's in Atlanta last night. Today also found a pocket of air in one lung so a tube was put in his chest to release the air. He's not breathing on his own so he is on a ventilator. Prayers are needed and appreciated for Anthony.
11/30 still the same. One lung has a partial collapse in it. Not worried about it yet but watching it closely
12/5 Off the ventilator and meds. Only using some fluids and oxygen. Hopefully will be in a regular room soon. Still not eating on his own yet. But doing way better.
Finally made it home today. After the 12/5 update, he had some withdraws from the meds and was doing bad again. Slowly winged him off the meds and he slowly started to eat again on his own.
