My Father told me once; "being a man isn't always doing the macho thing, or the cool thing, it's doing what you know is the right thing."

You made a Comittment ... There is a little person counting on you.

Turning around and going home +2 man-card points

I agree with this very strongly. Keep fighting

WELL SAID! You had a good man as a father.

It all started with the missing caramelo bar.. Yeah, you heard me right. Candy bar... Wtf... So what! I ate it. I went and got another, and then the ****ing rain storm begins....

I got chewed out one time because Chili's had closed and my preggo wife could not get a chocolate lava cake. For some reason it was my fault that they were not open.

Some great advice here. Not all of us had great role models at home, but some of us were lucky enough to have good uncles, preachers, teachers, coaches or father in laws to model the right way to be a man.

I honestly believe how you take care of your family says more about your character than anything else. Even when they make you want to get in the car and not come back. Sometimes you do need to walk away to prevent losing your temper and saying or doing something that can't be undone. A great marriage strengthening seminar that my wife and I went to pointed out that (if you are married) you were both crazy enough about each other to promise that you would sacrifice for each other and take care of them when they were sick. My wife has had very bad pre and post partum depression and had a very difficult menopause that led to her having a hysterectomy a couple years ago. Doesn't matter, still would do it all again to have our wonderful daughters and our great marriage. My wife and I are 22 years together, just last week. I am certainly no saint and my parents were both a mess in regards to multiple failed marriages. I know I am very blessed to have a good wife and good mother to our kids. Her parents were together for almost 50 years, unfortunately her dad passed away last year.
Hang in there, it is worth the work to make it work!

Pregnant wife and hormones got the best of me tonight. We never have had an argument this bad in 10 years. I let it be, held my breath and decided to leave Toccoa and stay at my other home for a night or so. I will love her till the end but how long does this nonsense linger for???

How far along is she. I am going through the same thing but the first trimester is the worst. So hang in there and realize they are only possessed like this for 9 months. hahaaha
