Private river fishing/hunting score.

Met a lady with a nice property on the Etowah river.
Agreed to do some work for her on her farm in exchange for hunting /fishing privileges.
It was a two man job so I brought my buddy with me.
After we finished the work yesterday we decided to check out the river fishing holes and he threw a lure in.
He caught a small rainbow on the second cast and then a nice keeper on the fifth cast….crazy.
Needless to say we were stoked.
He was gonna let the smaller fort fish go but it just couldn’t recover from the hook trauma…we tried but no luck so it became a sammich.

He just caught two more up by my cabin this morning in Chestatee.

Don’t be jealous….haha.
It doesent come without a trade off for work.
I’ll be splitting all this by maul and carting it up to the lodge by ATV /trailer one load at a time.

Very Cool, Nice catch! There is a boat ramp up near Dawsonville, that I have been wanting to boat for years. It's rocky with allot of elevation change, but that makes it fun. There is also a fair amount of gold in the river up there if you want to be a professional rock mover.
