I just picked up and old Smith and Wesson 1000P which I believe is a late 70s early 80s vintage and made in Japan. Nothing special aside from the nice wood furniture and vent rib barrel which I really wanted for this project. So tomorrow the barrel gets cut to 18.5" and the stock gets cut and reshaped into the 70s style bird head grip I've been looking for. So speak up now before it's too late. No seriously it's already too late. I'm cutting this thing up tomorrow. Gonna be my bathroom gun.

Oh there will be pics. But since I'm still working nights until New Years the pics of the progress may be slow or come at odd hours of the day.
