Anyone figured out to keep coons and squirrels out of a tube type deer protein feeder? Are maybe a different type of feeder?
I have a spin feeder for the corn but it is protected from the coons.

Sit and wait until night with a .22 semi auto that has a red light attached and a scope.
Pop the entire family in seconds and your coon problem will subside a bit.

I did it to a family of three with a crossbow reloading from a tree.
I don’t hunt over bait though but the coons were walking down inside the creek to be stealthy and they got all freaked out after I shot the first one and they were scurrying all over deadfall logs trying to figure out what happened.

You
Could always catch them in baited traps and relocate them near people you
Don’t like….haha.

Get a trapping license, and all the appropriate stuff…..put some dog proof traps around your feed station.
I’ve already gotten rid of several this year.
Relocation only adds to the problem.
Dispatch them and be done with it.
