Thank God, I haven't had an accident (yet).

But every time I handle primers I always remind myself, "Self, these are tiny little bombs of high explosives. If you disrespect them they can kill you." This particular time I was putting leftovers back into the storage trays and I almost got complacent moving them around.

Just something to keep in mind whenever you reload ;-)

Same with gunpowder. Also, exposure to lead can cause neurological effects, gastrointestinal effects, anemia, and kidney disease.

As with any activity, know what you are doing and do it safely.

:yell:
Now listen to Mommy so Tommy doesn't get his butt hurt!
If all this stuff is sooooo bad, why did Grandpa & Grandma live past the age of 40?
Just don't be stupid about stuff and you'll be fine (like casting in the basement).

As for the 22's, (I know you're joking, but we have some really literal people here) think about how they sell them, and how they are transported.

When I was in high school, one of the guys had (for some stupid reason) put some powder in an empty beer bottle. When some of the guys went over, one of them put his cigarette butt in the beer bottle on the table. Guess which bottle... and yes, it did earn him a trip to the hospital.
