I was all sorts of excited when Q announced the development of The Fix as it was going to be a straight pull. Then he apparently ditched that idea

It is straight pull but not in a traditional way, how you are thinking.

The way the internals work on the bolt make it straight pull.

If you have to lift a heavy bolt in order to move the bolt to the rear, it's not a straight pull.
