question for the gunsmiths

Hey guys have a question I recently picked up a interarms benchrest rifle chambered in the wildcat 30/338 the rifle is built on the mark x Mauser action my question is I'm not fond of wildcats and I would like to rechamber in 338 lapua can this action hold that round I know the 30/338 is a neck down of the 338 win mag and the win mag is a neck down 375 h&h and the 338 lapua is a 416 rigsby case will my action hold that round

The 338 Win Mag is Belted the Lapua is not so I would think the chambering/action is not compatible.
