Question regarding Generation 4 Glocks. ................................................

Can you put a Generation 4 Model 19 Slide on a Generation 4 Model 23 frame? If so,will it function without spring and extracter change? ( yes I know your going from 40 caliber to 9mm )

I currently swap back and fourth between 40 and 9mm with only barrel changes.

I've never tried swapping out the slide as well.

I personally wouldn't do it. But let us know if you try it an it works... im sure YouTube Has something on it...

The recoil spring is the same but the extractor is different, I'm pretty sure. But with the barrel diameter of 9mm being smaller than .40, a .40 cal barrel will not fit into a 19 slide.

If you already have the conversion barrel I don't know why you would want to blow 400 bucks on a slide. But yeah the slides will swap over on each other from what I have been told.

The ejector is the only frame difference. The 9mm has a slight bend, while the 40 caliber is straight. I think swapping slides would work just fine.
