We are thinking about holding a monthly swap meet gun show in Northwest Georgia at our gun range. We are not selling guns ourselves, we just want to set up a swap meet and put out some tables for rent. We just put up a new recreation center and we'd like to get some use out of it.

Guess I'm just looking for tips as I've been pouring over the laws.
Right now my main concern is someone coming from Tennessee into our state to purchase a gun from a private owner. We are just a few miles from the Tennessee border.

I guess I'd be concerned about people under 21 as well. Feel free to chime in on any aspect of this thread from procedure to what conveniences you enjoy at a show or even what you dislike.
Anyway just looking for advice what we should consider before we pull the trigger on this thing.

Advertise it at the range itself and see what feedback you get. It's a long way off. Safety is always a concern, your attorney can advise you on your part, if any, to see everything as lawful. I lost interest in gunshows when it became all dealers. Be nice to see something new.

Why 21? 18 is legal in the same way as 21 except an 18yr old can't buy from an ffl or carry in public but they can buy from private individuals or has that changed?
