Quick Question about checking stolen guns

Would you use an app to check for stolen guns

If it's on your phone, you wouldn't have to input personal info. The app would have access to it by just being on your phone. Your data could be sent without you even knowing it.

Maybe that sounds crazy. Still, what's the likelihood that you'll buy a stolen gun without such a system? I'm betting it's somewhere south of a 1% chance. What's the likelihood that a government will one day use technology to spy on citizens? In the context of "eventually" I"d say it's somewhere north of a 99% chance. Why get the ball rolling for them?

The phone company knows who you are, exactly where you are, what you look at on the phone, how you pay your bill and who you talk/text too and can record your conversations and texts quite easily.

Trust me on this I've worked here for 22 years.
