Range Report: Springfield Hellcat vs Sig P365 shootout

Disappointingly, there is no clear winner for me so far. The Sig was easier to shoot, but I did have 2 FTFs in the first session. I cleaned it before the second and had no hiccups.

The Hellcat was snappier, but I changed the base plate out so the mag no longer pinched. I thought the sights "felt" faster, but the Sig was definitely as accurate with slow shooting.

Next step, shot timer on drills. Hopefully one will come out on top for speed versus accuracy so it will be easier to decide.

Nice write up.

I know the small guns I've had always seem to be more finicky when they are dirty. My 365 will do that 'not quite into battery' trick if I don't clean it every few hundred rounds.

I've never seen it do that with less than say 50-100 rounds through it though, and it's actually getting better over time. I can't think of the last time it did it to be honest.
