Why are there so many states that do NOT honor Georgia's carry license? Compared to Tennessee for instance, nearly every state honors their license.......Who do we have to badger to get some progress on this issue?

Reciprocity question

The vast majority of them do not honor our carry license because we have no training requirement to get one, while they do. Since they feel that training should be required in order to carry in their state, they won't accept ours.
27. (I think) honor Georgia and at least 3 have no permit requirement. There are several states that won't honor ANY permit period.
I was mainly talking about SC, Va, and WVa.
because we are obviously better than those states thats why
The reality is that the reason that the reciprocity is so bad is that there is not alot of reciprocity here for others.
It's about give and take and many southern states are fairly proprietary when it comes to that ...
It's best really to have several permits anyway. I have permits from Georgia, Nebraska, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Utah and Florida.
The bonus is that every 5 years I have to go back to las vegas for training

multiple permits is all we can do. You can get a non resident FL permit pretty easy through the mail that will get you VA WVA. You can only get SC as a resident of a reciprocity state or own property there.
Ga. reciprocates with any State that will allow our GWCL. So it's not a Georgia problem.
ETA: It is well documented that a certain three letter organization (the 800 lbs Gorilla) is the sole reason South Carolina does not reciprocate with Georgia.

GA will accept any state's license that will accept GA's license.

Edit: Also there are 4 states without the need for a license Open or Concealed Vermont, Alaska, Arizona, and Wyoming. There are many more that allow Open Carry without a license.
