Recommendations for mountain bike trails?

Hey ODT, I wanted to see if anyone knew any decent mountain biking trails around the metro Atlanta area, I don't mind driving further for a scenic trail that is worth it either. I have done the GA horsepark and Fort Yargo back in my enduro days. They were fun but not challenging. I've taken back on cycling to give my legs a rest from running/straight pounding into the neighborhood asphalt.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

I am a roadie but I can tell you there are some good MTB trails around Rome.

Big Creek Park?

The mtn bike trails are rated for different skill levels. I don't ride but my son does.

I used to ride. Blankets Creek north of Woodstock. 3 levels. I never did the advanced one. They had a time rating on the intermediate to judge how good you were. Near the bottom but fun. Donations accepted but free.

Blankets Creek in Canton Ga. Not far off 575.

I might have to take a weekend off and ride both Blanket Creek and Big Creek Park that was just recommended to me since they are relatively a short drive from each other. Thanks for the suggestion

Blankets creek is good. The south Lake loop is challenging.
Chicopee woods is good. That was my go to when I was into mtb.
Altoona creek has some good flowy trails. Only went there once but had a good time.

Hit Rope Mill Park in Woodstock after Blankets Creek. Avalanche, Power House, Explorer trails. Good stuff.

Blankets and Rope Mill are good from what I understand but I’ve never been. I used to run Allatoona Creek every week. Also Mt Tabor but I don’t think any of those count as being scenic, just close to where I live.
