Just saw this because I was out of town until late last night. I grew up in Pine Mtn and there are plenty of good little food joints in PM. Whistlin' Pig, 3 Little Pigs, The Gardens Country Store & Kitchen (really good breakfast there), Iron Horse (on the end to the left of KFC), the mexican restaurant at the 27/18 split and the restaurant at the Pine Mtn Chalets (can't remember that name....Crickets?) Pine Mtn is part of my regular 175-200 miles motorcycle loop, which includes Senoia to Woodbury, Manchester, Chalybeate Springs, Woodland, back to Manchester and over the mtn to Pine Mtn, Hamilton, backroads to crossing Hwy 18 to Salem Rd, to Mountville, Hogansville, Grantville, Moreland, Sharpsburg, PTC and home. I think I'll start a thread re: a weekend motorcycle ride. We usually do it Saturday late morning to 3-4pm.
Just had lunch from Chipley's Chicken, great as always, and their cole slaw is delicious too!I’m from pine mountain. I agree that whistling pig is great and also chipleys chicken is really good too
