Recreational Pot; has your view changed?

I'm about the same age as you but when I was a teen, the "freaks" or "heads" as we called them were actually not troublemakers or law breakers. They just wanted to get high and go to concerts. As an adult, if I had to choose, I'd hang out with potheads over drunks. I've never seen anyone get high and want to fight everybody....

I'm still confused. My "opinion" is that those teens who currently illegally use recreational pot are more prone to break other laws. "Bad boy syndrome". Making it legal I doubt would have any material impact one way or the other on their propensity to commit other crimes.

they are. There will always be that crowd, but if Marijuana use is decriminalized I think it will lower the numbers of people in that group of people.

The "War on Drugs" has been just a successful as the Prohibition of Alcohol was in the early 1900s.
All it does is make criminals out of otherwise law abiding citizens, gives the Law justification to abuse the Constitution, and makes the real criminals rich.

ALCOHOL = tax revenue. Chump change. Keeps people sick at later stage= chump change.

Thats why weed is illegal and THE only reason the FEDS want let it go easy. $$$$$
