Home depot rents a vacuum sander for removing popcorn ceilings

Just rip the sheetrock off and and put up new.....I swear it would be easier to do that than scrape that **** off haha.

1985 sqft 1977 single story ranch with fine popcorn ceilings I hate. My quote was $4000.00 to remove and install knockdown with paint. Still haven't done it and still hate it.

Best ceiling I ever saw was an old friend of my dad's house. The ceiling was butter smooth and there were no edges anywhere. Everything was rounded off. It was actually relaxing to be in and he did it all himself with cement.
