Retro DMR Build Thread

I've got an ancient flat top upper with a welded on weaver rail, and I'm trying to plan out a retro build with it. Problem is, there's not much information on what kind of aftermarket support ARs had during the 80's and 90's, so I don't know what to even look for.

I'm curious as to what kind of parts and accessories were on the market back then. Furniture, muzzle devices, scopes, and other **** like that.

Spray paint. 80 to 100-lumen flashlights duck taped to the handguard. Aimpoint had come out with their 1000 to 3000 serious. Colt had there 4 power fixed scope that would attach on top of an A1 or A2 upper.

Things didn't change much until after 9/11 and the end of the assault weapons ban.

Anybody know who made this fiberglass handguard? I lost the gunbroker auction, and never got an answer from the seller.
