So Diaz takes the head coaching job at Temple, then bails on them after three weeks to come back to Miami?
Now there's the man I'd want coaching for me, with his deep sense of commitment.

I have a little different take on Richt. I truly feel like Richt grew tired of recruiting and coaching a few years back, at least a couple of years BEFORE he as asked to leave UGA. Now, he continued to coach and recruit at a decent level, just without the fever pitch needed in this era of college football.
On a personal note, while I like Richt as a man, I can never forgive him for starting the third string QB at Florida. One of the more dumb ass moves I have ever seen in college coaching. Glad he has decided to retire. But, I feel the fire died quite a while ago.
