I have always wanted a stainless No.1 ever since I was a kid. I always heard about the accuracy problems with them, being that they are a hit or miss but id risk it just to own one.

Pretty sure he meant missed the opportunity, not literally missed the deer. Same thing happened to me with a Waterbuck while hunting with a stainless rifle.

You don't know me very well do you?? Had nothing to do with shooting. The deer picked out something wasn't right and didn't proceed to walk up the hill where I was. I could tell he kept looking up my way and was apprehensive. The sun was out, I was up in a tree in camo.
