Rifle (Bolt Gun) Porn

I emailed the new RemArms this spring. They are going to be releasing a 700 in 35 Whelen this Fall/Winter!

I might pick one up, because it seems Remington only did them here and there through out the years.. They fetch a pretty penny on the resale market when not in production.

@cmshooThose are absolutely beautiful and expensive builds!
I wish I had know they were going to be doing that. I paid way too much for a 1988 R700 Classic in 35 Whelen on GB a few months back. There was a NIB one that went over 3k.

I still love my old 700BDL. These and older Weatherby's are still a couple of my favorites to this day. Something about blued steel and a high gloss finish that just never gets old to me. My dad's Remy from the late 70's. Probably less than 100 rounds down the pipe. You just gotta love em! To me some of the most beautiful guns made to date. He is gone now but every time I get it out I remember every shot he made with this gun.

I agree, these are beautiful rifles. Also an old Winchester model 70. I don't like a Mauser style safety, but it's still a beautiful rifle

Speaking of bolt guns which trigger should I replace the factory job with? I have always heard good thing things about the Jewel trigger for the 700BDL. Not trying to hijack the thread just want to ask a quick question.

I just installed a triggertech in one of my R700's. I've always used Timney, but I'm very pleased with it so far.

For BR, a jewel is good. For everything else, TriggerTech Diamond. Hands down the cleanest, most consistent break and reliable trigger on the market.
