Maybe I missed the detail, but has the Atf in their non-law proclamation decided that even if you have a GWL / carry permit you now have to have a background check as well? Or just fill out the 4473?

If the latter remains true, then why can't anyone fill out a 4473 / bill o' sale if the buyer has a GWL?

They have not changed the background check requirements, so a GWL will still prevent the NICS check.

A 4473 is for record keeping and only those in the business (FFL holders) would be able to use it.

$260 was the cheapest 9mm case. It was alright. I was able to sell what I wanted and buy some silver @ kess then spot, so no complaints.

Nice. I usually buy from and gentleman on the front row right after the concession stand. Good price too.

Late fireworks at the show today for those that stayed till the end! Watching a would be thief trying to outrun everyone getting body slammed by 20 dealers/attendees never gets old... What happens at Expo stays at Expo!!

The funny thing is....The stupid rule has nothing to do making mandatory a background check on a private sale....

It is totally possible under this new rule that a private seller can be arrested at the show standing at a licensed dealers table while the licensed dealer conducts a background check for the private seller...lol

The rule defines who is a gun dealer and is required to get a FFL....So making a rule at a show that says all private firearms transactions have to run thru a FFL holder actually does absolutely nothing....lol

And that's the problem with RK statements going forward. I suspect they will come to their senses but you never know.
