It fits both. There is a way to adjust it depending on which buffer tube you have.

Yes, they work with both. The unique feature is the cam lock lever that tightens the stock up to either size buffer tube and removes wobble experienced with many adjustable stocks

Yea I have a couple that came on Colts. One was my 6940 and not sure about the other one. That's a good buy on these that are being sold.

A Rit Dye pack is pretty cheap. Worked well on an AFG2 in OD I found on a deal.
