Anyone know anything or have experience with the RSV vaccine?

I know the RSV vaccines are made by GSK and Pfizer.
That’s all I need to know.

Although Pfizer can claim an 80%+ "efficacy", the confidence interval is pretty wide. You may only have about a 50% chance of it working, or you may have a 90% chance. The efficacy drops a good bit over time, perhaps due to newer strains.

I thought only kids got RSV, or had bad reactions to it. I guess now they're saying adults too? I think I'll pass. My niece had to spend some time in the hospital as a baby with RSV but just about any illness is dangerous for an infant.
