Because I can put my Octane 9 on this and shoot it suppressed. If you don't have a suppressor, the 300blk makes no sense

I thought they fixed that years ago by switching to the heavier barrels...

I had a 580 series vintage 2009 ish and it sucked. MOBSoB accuracy. Looked cool as hell though. Hope Ruger figured it out.
