Russia stops shipping ammo to US!

This has been brewing for a while now. There were articles about the potential impact on gun and ammo prices because of the Russia/Ukraine problems in the blogs for at least the last two weeks. Looks like the Yeager post might have been the straw the broke the camel's back though.
That being said, unless Russia really does stop shipments for good, all this will do is make distributors order a ton more, which will all show up, flood the market, and drive the prices down to $200/1000 in a month or so. As many have pointed out, even if they kept up a boycott, there are plenty of other countries that make this ammo as well.
Any self-respecting AK owner should already have at least 1000 rounds or so squirreled away, so give it a month and pick up enough on the cheap when the markets are flooded so you never have to worry about this kind of thing again.
