I've had both. Couldn't tell the difference between them and never engaged the safety. I'm buying one, safety or not.

I personally am fine with safety on a pocket or deep carry gun. You can always just not use it

I'm sure I'll buy one still at that price. I've had both models before, and the safety didn't bother me, just prefer to not have it since I won't use it.
