How are the Saiga 223 guns? seen one local but have not messed with them before. What are they worth?

I bought mine 6 years ago for $230 otd, but those days are over. I saw one at Franklins in Athens for $775 + tax every where else there $800-850. Great quality guns

Its new on shelf Im not sure on the conversion. What conversion do they need?

They don't need one. Its more of getting it to look like an AK.

But Saiga is at the top of the AK platforms. Ive owned 3, great guns.

pistol grip and different stock with trigger group relocated? Its converted.. If not then no.

no, just not worth as much.

GREAT Quality guns as imported, and can be made EVEN BETTER by someone who know what they're doing on the "Conversion" back to "AK-ness"...I would not hesitate to own one, either "Converted" OR UNconverted...HTH....mikey357

I had the same dilemma few weeks back, I bought mine in 7.62x39 and I don't regret it, great rifle, especially for $420!
