The pawnshops prey on individuals with pistols. Like the one guy who was quoted $120 for a Gen4 G19 in the box… AND ACCEPTED!

Wish I could have made contact with that guy before he agreed at the counter, I would have at least gave him Two fiddy!
They could've at least bought him dinner before they screwed him:preggers:

I posted one of my items in the correct classifieds forum area already. I don't want to spam the introduction forum but if you click my profile I think it would link to it.

I also plan on posting my 9mm and 22 ammo soon. I have a Ruger 22, I probably won't post here because it's "basic" even though it's only used once, there is nothing special about it.
Ok, so I just looked up your post for sale. You're thinking of going to a pawn shop with it, so why don't you drop your price by $100 and see if anyone offers up? You're not going to get anywhere near what you're asking for it at a PS anyway.

The keys are:

1. Look up decent prices for your item and add 10% minimum.
2. If selling a handgun, add a cheap holster and some ammo and list it as "kitted up" and add 20% to price.

Just funnin' you. Welcome!

My post listed a price and said open to offers and have had zero contacts so far. So I don't think dropping $100 is going to energize it.

More likely it's like others have said and people here want to pay the same as a pawn shop owner would. That's fine, now I know my audience at ODT. If I'm going to have to sell at a pawn shop price, then I will take it to a pawn shop and have a smooth quick transaction instead of a Facebook Marketplace experience.

You have to show a little more patience. It can be like fishing. I have had listings sit quiet for a week or two and then get multiple trade/sale offers on the same day.

Thank you

A lot of people don't like the idea of an open-ended invitation to "make me an offer".
