Just call the product you're selling a "home/personal security system", "putting meat on the table tool", or other such terms.

As far as the law goes, gays are a protected class gun owners are not.

They're not targeting gun owners, they are targeting sellers of a legal (so far) product.

Salesforce could be sued unless they recently had some language inserted into their merchant contracts saying that they have the right to tell merchants what type of products they can sell.


Absent such an agreement by the merchant that uses Salesforce's software, salesforce would be breaching its contract with them if it disabled or interfered with the operation of the software while the contract term is still ongoing.

Secondly, I think Salesforce would be committing a tortious interference with a contractual relationship-- the relationship being the one between the merchant and the consumer who wants to purchase the guns or ammo.
