i always wondered why killing someone with gas was worse than killing someone with bombs or bullets
Your skin doesn't peel off, as you break your own spine from convulsions from the reaction to the gas....

bullets and bombs do a lot of damage but nothing like chemical weapons.......the ultimate "I Dont give a ****" weapon.

and they are still dead within minutes

and it depends on the chemical agent, the convulsion and breaking your own back part happens usually after your diaphragm stops working

aka the chemical agent acts as a molecular inhibitor (or changes the enzyme substrate affinity altogether). aceytlocholine (spelling on it) is the molecule responsible for muscle contraction. the enzyme aceytlcholinase causes the contraction to stop. of course this doesnt happen with the chemical agent changing the substrate enzyme affinity

hence involuntary muscle contractions are affected more so and causes death

and the result is the people are still dead. generally chemical and biological agents ahve been frowned upon by modern militaries not so much for the geneva convention violations, but more because they are erratic and can be ineffective or back fire. very dependent on the weather and what not as well

Dead is dead I agree.....but WMD/Distrubance always seem to cause more fear (probably because most people don't understand them).
