I travel around the state throughout the year. I always keep an eye out for the local sausage/butcher shops.
What are some good ones around your neck of the woods?

My favorites are Striplings (Albany and Statham), Cajun Meat Company (Marietta), Conecuh (Evergreen Alabama) and Jones Country Meats (Climax Ga,)

There is or was one in Blakely, GA that made excellent sausage. I cannot recall the name of the butcher.

Carrols and Striplings are good- one that's often overlooked is the Dekalb Farmer's Market... the Andouille wasn't great, but the chorizo was very good. I didn't get to try all of them last time I was there, I already had way too much stuff to get more fresh sausage.
