I went out for lunch at mellow mushroom in vinings and saw a 4 door jeep wrangler with the doors removed and two car seats in the back. We sat outside so I saw when they left and the dad put two kids in them that looked to both be under 5 years of age.

Is it just me or is that a little over the top? No way in heck would I leave no barrier between my kids and another car, especially in Atlanta. I mean geeze, what if they get T Boned or one of the toddlers takes off his seatbelt? :smh:

I fail to see the big deal here.

Wow! What generation are you all from. Growing up in the 60's and 70's we had none of the stuff you call safety now. I did not know what a seatbelt was until I was a teenager. Riding in the back of an open pickup truck was a treat. What the hell are knee pads, elbow pads, or helmets. Really, bicycle helmets, WTF. We really need to stop trying to be like our own government.

Crazy for sure!! But hey when we were kids we road in the back of truck beds and never wore seat belts. Hell our station wagon had a rear seat that faced the rear of the car.

I remember those seats! My friends mom had them and we thought those rear facing seats were awesome!

I saw a dude pulling a very nice one down I75 with it still up. It was not handling it very well. To this day I wonder how that story ended.
