SBR suppressed gas reduction

If its not an LWRC, HK, or LMT piston, leave it alone.

FYI, with the same can, this upper was quieter to the ear with a 10.5" barrel, than my 12.5" ACR was.

Actually, the 762 can I last saw used on it did not cycle with the switch on suppressed. But that setup was having other issues. So I'm not 100% sure on that.

I know that suppressor was having issues, but this got me thinking. The restriction device built into the WAR upper receiver is easily accessible. It would actually be very easy to open the port up if necessary and tune the upper to run reliably while still offering some gas reduction. Like a tunable gas port, but built into the upper receiver instead of the gas block. Hmmmm, wheels are turning...

ETA: if you could figure out the port diameter of the Noveske switchblock on the suppressed setting, that would be a good starting point. As long as you don't exceed the barrel's gas port dimensions, you should see an improvement in gas blowback.
