Closed Scam?

Hey guys I have a weird feeling about a post I made help me out.

So I made a WTB ad and received a email from the ODT about a inbox message. First off it just came through my email and doesn't show
up in my inbox like normal second when I searched the user name nothing came up and he wants to communicate through email. Anyone else having these issues?

Might not be a true "scam". Could easily be someone who just doesn't want their communications with you recorded by ODT's server - possibly because they have fraudulent intent, or just want to mess with you.

I wouldn't even reply.

Yes I got messages like that. Saying email me for more info etc and will never communicate through pm. I report and let admin figure it out.

Yes, it's spam. It wasn't in your PM inbox because when we remove a spam account it also deletes all their activity including PM's.
