wasp and spiders that have been attacking me lately.I'm sure, like spiders, they're all venomous. Just not dangerous.Good to know the ones here are not "venomous". If one is eaten, it may be poisonous.
Friend has a pool in S. Oconee County, in the country, really attracts them for some reason.I live east of Athens in a heavily wooded area and get them in the house all the time (always in process if dying if not dead). Eliminate any source of water for them and they will die or move elsewhere. Talstar and Cy-kick are what I use to control the little bastards as well. Cy-kick works extremely well. Two species are native to GA - the southern devil which are the all brown ones found in the north areas and the striped bark scorpion found in south GA. Sting is like a wasp sting.
