Selling 1964 Ford Galaxie 500?

My dad inherited a 64 Ford Galaxie 500 2-door with V8 & auto. It's been garage kept for 20 years but needs lots of work. Spent $700 on new tires and a battery, checked all fluids and turned it over to check everything. It ran for a few seconds so we shut it down but now the alternator light is on and it won't crank. Neither of us have the time or money to invest to get it road worthy.

Any suggestions on where to list it or take it if he decides to sell?

We have no idea where to even begin to figure a fair price. I've got to go by and check it out myself sometime this week.

68k on the odometer, tag expired in 1995 which was the last time it was on the road. All chrome, hub caps, gauges and interior look good except door panels. Seats probably have been recovered and it's been repainted a long time ago, carpets were rolled up but look fair from what I glanced at. Some rust on the bottom of the door and bottom of front quarter panel with some rust through spots, no other rust that I noticed. Chrome, logos, windows, and lights were there. No brakes, engine turned over but we didn't try to crank it. 289 with automatic.

Anybody have a clue what she's worth?
