Serious question about outdoor range!

And to be clear it's "legal weapon" AND "legal hours". You can't shoot coyotes at midnight with your squirrel gun on a WMA just because it's squirrel season.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but I personally contacted the state and no night hunts/shooting on WMA period! I've heard that there's special circumstances, but I don't know the specifics on that.

Its not a very good money maker, sure your buddies and friends will all come. But years down the road it fizzles out.Unless you have something very unique like the ranges out in Las Vegas yer pissing in the wind. Believe me ive kicked around the idea myself for couple years.Wish you luck

Agreed, you have to have some amazing idea to keep something like this open. Gunship pirate fights with moving ships on a lake full of tannerite.....probably not profitable, but I'd pay a one time fee....lol

I was out in Vegas a few months ago. We went out into the desert by Nellis AFB to ride ATVs and dune buggies. On the way out we passed probably 10 different vans advertising "sniper adventures" and other similar stuff. These people have to be raking it in. Look at the prices on this one. Nuts.

Wow. $700 to shoot 25 rounds. Ammo must be expensive out there.

I drive an hour and 20 minutes to shoot on some of my family's land. So I'd consider doing a
1:45 drive for a GOOD outdoor range. Reasonable cost, shaded, has decent bathrooms. Maybe a drink machine or s clubhouse that sells Cokes and bottled H2O (and not at movie theater prices).
