Sharing the road with bicyclists

I think any bike on a road with painted lines should have a license plate. That would allow kids to ride in most neighborhoods, etc. with a plate, traffic and dash cams can have a record of the facts
I think anyone riding any kind of vehicle on a federal, state or county road should meet the same insurance requirements as regular drivers.

Lots of $hit talk here, that kind of talk is cheap, legal defense is not, so much so I'm certain you would not financially survive were you to actually injure or take someone's life. I have seen it, I worked in many of the shops in the city, Bicycle South, Freeflite, The Bike Link. I have seen my friends run over and one turned into a vegetable until he passed, RIP Albert Cohen. With over one hundred fifty thousand cycled miles on Atlanta roads I myself have bee struck many times by dumbasses like you who think they own the road and clearly lack tolerance and patience and a little feeling of kindness especially when they are SO in the wrong. You WILL share the road or you WILL be dealt with by the law, adjust your thinking, see the error you your emotional outburst and focus on the logic of 'live and let live'. I have the same right as you to the road, from yellow to white lines.

I’ll continue the **** talk here… **** YOU!

I would never ride on the road in this country. These people are ****ing idiots here. Other places in the world is part of their culture and celebrated. I joked that I would ride on the road with an AR on my back. I know too many people killed maimed and ****ed up because people are idiots and want to play road games. I’ll see you on my mountain bike off-road. Idiots riding with their moose horns out for 4 feet and they’re not even dragging a trailer, douche bags.
Rant over have a great evening.

I personally would like the bike riders to be more aware of the issues they cause drivers and act accordingly, I live on Kellog creek road ,it is curvy has hills and is a no passing zone from end to end yet they will not move over to allow safe passing .

I see them shut down several county roads and part of a state hwy several times a year for their little marathon. They get escort cars from the county sheriff and have support cars parked blocking the road for them. They even have cameras set up all along filming everything. They even had my road blocked off to my house had to go around their little blockade. This seems like entitlement to me. Nobody I know would try try hit someone on a bike or anything else but all the locals I know think they are ***holes for riding 4 wide, stopping in the road, and presenting a danger in sharp curves.

Problem is when you take a curve doing even less than the speed limit and there they are at a turtles pace struggling up a hill from line to line and cause an accident. It's like they expect everyone to drive 25mph everywhere just in case they may be there.
