Sharks on Georgia Coast

I was wanting to go sharking fishing from the beach on the Georgia Coast. I would like to hear from someone who has done this. Best places to go, time of day,bait to use, rig to use. All info would be appreciated.

Big Penn reels, lots of heavy line, steel leaders, big circle hooks, big bloody baits, lots of cold beer. Get your bait out with a small paddle boat at night.

Thats not far. Probably same distance from Atlanta either way? Atlanta to Savannah or Atlanta to Panhandle.
