If you're considering them for the convenience factor, cool.
But you don't HAVE to use an FFL or other shipper in order to send a rifle in for Warranty work. You can legally use a common carrier (UPS or FedEx) or the USPS.
Looking on their website, it looks like all that they do is provide you with a shipping label. They don't give you a box, package it up correctly, or any of the other things that I'd want them to do. (You're not going to ship a hunting rifle in a recycled Amazon box. Long gun boxes are pretty much a specialty item that I'd hope my service provider could give me.)
You can create an account with USPS.com and use their "Click-and-Ship" feature to create your own labels and save money that way.

You didn't receive an RMA label from the manufacturer?
I may be mistaken, BUT I think that FedEx is the only carrier that will currently ship a gun...I could be wrong...I'm fairly confident USPS will not

Nope, they want me to ship it on my dime and they'll graciously send it back to me for free.

My cousin had a rifle shipped to him via usps. Supposed to be here monday now they say it’s lost!
I ship my ‘machined parts’ via FEDEX
It's for people who like to overcomplicate things. If it's a rifle simply ship it via the Post office.
