nice and love the finish, did you blue it yourself?

This was done just prior to me figuring out how to hot blue my own steel. Every gun after it, I will hot blue myself it it needs a bluing job.

I did hot re-blue this Springer 1911 for a friend.

The skull from my unit that's engraved on the slide is also tattooed on my forearm.

Lifetime of memories.....the gun is obviously on the Do Not trade list.

Ok, so I had to dig up this thread so I could finally add a few pictures of my build. It started as a pre fit Slide and frame from Fusion Firearms. The finish is a Home hot blue job.
