I drove my buddies blown SBC a couple miles, Nah...I'm good for the rest of my life....F'in deathtrap

Too bad on the pictures. Sleepers are the best and I bet even with a stock 5.0 it was fast, I would imagine it had a pretty good power to weight ratio.
Here’s a pic of one with the conversion…not mine, but, I could have put my MG next to it and you would think they were twins. That conversion has gotten popular actually using the 5.0 and a few going LS..

Nice Miata. Great stance on the '32, I see an overhead valve engine, what is it?
Ridiculously hopped up 454 with T350, nice cam and mild stall. Had to be very diplomatic with the right pedal turning from a stop sign or you would be looking at the grill of the car that used to be following you 😂 😂 😂

Ain't nothin wrong with a good V8. I was trying to look up and see if these were full frame cars?? And extra support needed? What's the HP?

Unibody style cars. Although it was called something else. I added gussets at the front cross member- body/ engine support. You can actually ( I did ) buy a kit with all adapters needed for eng tranny install. Company name escapes me right now.
The 5.0 I used was out of a crown vic and was stock around 225 hp. flywheel. Once carb and headers added was probably that at r w. Lot of fun on a 2500lb car.
