Think of it as hitting the lottery that you don't want to win. If you bought a ticket in the past, you believe you could win. Same with the Sig. Do you want to win that lottery. You already believe you can be winner, but why buy that ticket?Hello everyone, I’m sure you all have heard of the 320 scares and as someone who Carries appendix, i’d like to have more peace of mind.
What are you personal opinions on the safety of the Sig P320 line.
Please share you opinion/stories/examples if you have any.
I have reached out to a good number of people and got their opinions but I am all ears to the public. Thanks ODT
That post was a troll using an image from an ND that was originally posted to 4chan a few years ago, the orignal OP confirmed it wasn't even a Sig. A reverse image search will pull it up in the archive. The original OP also came and posted receipts as well as a new picture of the healed injury (he luckily managed to send it subq and missed everything but skin and fat). I've been following the p320 issues for a while and think that should be pointed out because the gun clearly is capable of generating bad press on it's own. This isn't me running defense for sig, quite the opposite. Bad faith posts like the 4chan example gives ammunition to the people who are still saying there isn't an issue and it's all either user error or outright fabrication.Skip to 28 minutes
anything that lodges a tiny bit into the trigger will set it off, this is 1mm of tolerance.
Also.. check this from 4chanView attachment 9210124

It apparently was a Gen 5 Glock 20 running hard cast bear rounds from underwood. I'll attach pictures from the original poster as well in case anyone would like to reverse search them for more info.Cool additional lore on the post. Good to know
