Sig Carry? Safe or Dangerous?

I’ve repeatedly said "all things mechanical are given to failure…. regardless the MSRP"…. for many years now, people have stated what a piece of garbage Taurus is/has been because it’s a cheap gun and the company had issues with their product…. but it ain’t lookin' so bad now….

I’ve noticed quite a number of P320s posted of ODT lately and I’m guessing the market on those will get pretty soft now….. at least until the problem is resolved and there is a total recall and update on EVERY P320 produced or Sig does a buy-back program like Taurus did….

Hindsight will be 20/20 for Sig, I’m sure…. and they will likely wish they had been more pro-active with their response in addressing the problem rather than delaying said response because of the consideration of how much $$$$ it will cost them….

How is a gun folk insider type not familiar with Sig Sauer public relations potency?

You fail to grasp what I stated. The incident you are quoting is publicly-known, well-covered "news" that has been covered on multiple media types, ad nauseam, including the ODT, since the day that they incident occurred, which was JULY 20 2025.

I was aware of it on either July 20 or 21.......can't remember. I shared the information in this thread on July 22, about 20 pages back, so it's been posted here on ODT for at least 1 week now.
